New Architecture Competition: Great for Multi-skilled Creatives

Venice City Vision Competition is the second edition of the international competition series promoted by City Vision Mag and it’s purpose is to give an opportunity to architects, designers and students to engage their creativity “to stimulate the contemporary potential of the city and besides wanting to enhance the historic texture of the city, sees on the aquatic identity of the lagoon a fundamental starting point to create new visions about a possible development of this component.” …

Venice CityVision is an ideas competition, which challenges participants to develop visionary urban proposals with the intention of stimulating and supporting the contemporary city, in this case, the city of Venice. Through innovative ideas and methodologies that improve the connection between the historical, present, and future city. “City Vision aims to foster a critical evolution of architectural historiography.”

To better understand and represent a global vision of the city of Venice, the panel of judges are excited to see submissions from multi-skilled Creatives. Participation in the competition is open to architects, engineers, designers, students and creatives world-wide.

Interested?
Architects, engineers, designers, students and Creatives can take part in this competition. Temporary groups are allowed especially if they are multi skilled.

The promoters will provide a competition brief in Italian language but the final proposal must be submitted only in English.

* Individual or group entries are permitted. The indication of a group leader is required. There is an entry limit of one proposal per individual/team and there is no limit to the number of participants per group.

June 2011: Announcement of results

Judge Panel
The Venice ideas will be judged by an international jury which will have as president Bjarke Ingels, founder of the Danish office Big, and Neri Oxman, Elena Manferdini, Maria Ludovica Tramontin and Bostjan Vuga.
